The Cribs/ The Magnetic Fields

Those 28 days of February seem to fly by...
A bit of slow month, not much work and lot of relaxing.
Got sick at the last minute to cover Wilco but I think it was meant to be.
Trying to catch up on their 8 album catalogue was a bit of work.
Though the weather has been extremely mild here, still barren for choice-y concerts.
But managed to catch couple of shows so far in 2010.
The Cribs - just because I was curious to see Johnny Marr in person and he looked like he was having jolly good old time jangling away on his guitar.
Overall, it was a satisfying show.

We tried to get press pass for The Magnetic Fields but they’re just too damn popular - I guess.
But I wanted to see them once before I die so I paid for the entry and manage to get a photo pass.
The audience and the band were both seated.
Looked as if I was the only one with a photo pass and felt like I had be ever-so inconspicuous.
I was pretty bored before the intermission.
The sound was not full like on the album and with everyone seated, it was about to put me to sleep.
So I left at half time.
But you can check out the pics from the first half at the Concert Gallery
