Treasure Island music fest seems to be in the hazy past though it's been less than 10 days since its finale.
Lot of sleepless nights between the weekend of music, followed by a video gig in San Fran that gave me so much trouble over livestreaming. I am amazed that no videographer between my colleagues and my client's contacts knew exactly how to Ustream with Pro videocam through laptop. In the end, I proved myself that I was smart eough and was able to make it work. In hindsight, it wasn't that complicated - just tedious steps and codes. The story of obtainig a compatible camera itself was a harry enough situation but after all that trouble of making things work, the streaming dropped due to lack of bandwidth - all I can say is that I did my part. Amongst turmoil, at least I got to spend some time with my little sister who lives in the city.
Turned all my photos and videos from TIMF in before I went to bed last Friday but not sure when if ever get published on Brooklyn Vegan… guess I'll give it a few more days…
In the meantime, here's an album review that I started writing over a month ago - Apparat's Devil's Walk. Is it just me or nothing is never finished? If someone doesn't give me a deadline, I'll work on a pianting, video, review, etc. forever.

I had this grand plan to go to Germany next month and document Apparat's last 3 European dates. But I gave into pragamatism and will be heading to Montreal instead of Europe after my job in Boston. I did choose to cross border instead of going to NYC so guess I am not completely thinking with financial consequences. Oh but for the same price, one can get a bed in Montreal instead of a sofa in NYC.
