Karaoke video hits the festivals!
Earlier this year, my friend, Karl Lind, was one of the invited filmmakers from Portland Experimental and Documentary Festival to make a karaoke video for their opening night. It was definitely the best and most ambitious karaoke of all at the screening.
I was the art director who got to make the brain, dye lab coats, mix blood, freeze ice with credit cards, find the ape suit, do Karl's hair... and make the iPod-monolith. Oh yeah - I also played the scientist, opposite of Karl.
Our version of Devo's "Gates of Steel" will be screened at the opening night of
NW Film Festival on November 7th.
It will also be screened at
Dallas Video Festival + Other Cinema.

You can also see the video
here.

Wow! Can't believe it's October already.
A project I have been working on for several months is finally finished (in the client's eye). It was a pleasure to actually work on a paid project that was creatively up my alley.
Check out the promo video for
The Last Regiment of Syncopated Drummers.
I've also been working with StudioNow to produce and edit videos for Citysearch. You can check out a video we did for
SunsUp Tanning.

More and more stuff but this is all the time I have to update for now.
