It was a crazy music week, last week that started on Tuesday with Psychedelic Furs concert and ended with Modest Mouse on Sunday. Doing a photo coverage for Musicfest NW turned out to be more life consuming process than I had thought: fighting crowd, security, exhaustion, lack of sleep, parking issues... but still glad I suffered.
Not very happy with my shots but it was pretty challenging.

I had been thinking it would be nice if I could trade my concert photos for free entry and as luck would have it, QRO magazine fulfilled that desire.
My first photos for them was for The Psychedelic Furs/ Happy Mondays concert at The Crystal Ballroom on September 15.
Actually, we got the pass through the opening band’s PR: Amusement Parks on Fire.
You can see the photos by clicking on the band’s names though Amusement Parks had lowest lighting so it was challenge and I hate using flash.

Before I had the unfortunate incident of hard drive crashes, I had submitted “Hideaway” to one festival to test the waters.
Well, it has been accepted to The Baltimore Women’s Film Festival. It is one of only 2 music videos in the program.
Too bad, I only have web version of the project... eh... machines... so fickle....
